Effective February 2024, Pag-IBIG Fund implemented Circular No. 460, which adjusted the Maximum Fund Salary (MFS) from ₱5,000 to ₱10,000.

This adjusted the mandatory monthly savings from ₱100 to ₱200 for employees earning ₱10,000 or more, matched by an employer counterpart of ₱200, doubling the monthly total credited to each member's Regular Pag-IBIG account to ₱400.

Questions people ask next

Can I contribute more than ₱200 per month to Regular Pag-IBIG?

Yes! You can upgrade your monthly regular Pag-IBIG contribution to any amount. Your employer is only required to match up to the statutory ₱200 cap unless company policy provides a higher match.

How is Regular Pag-IBIG different from MP2?

Regular Pag-IBIG is your mandatory membership fund that also qualifies you for housing loans and calamity loans. MP2 (Modified Pag-IBIG 2) is a voluntary 5-year high-yield savings program with higher annual dividend rates.
